If you buy the domed plates, it would be a shame to drill holes in anyway. There are other ways to attach them..... Like plate holders ?

Good shout, I like these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-RS-PAIR-Number-Plate-Holders-Frames-Surrounds-01-/360224516204?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item53df0de86c

Yes mate, that's what i've got. Easy to fit, lockable and if you want to change to show plates, it takes seconds. Also if you get plain holders instead of badged, they are £6 cheaper. Happy days. 😊

price seems decent for a set of 2 and also its chrome so should match the chrome lip on the front and rear of a focus.

domed letters are technically illegal as they are stuck onto a plane numberplate so they are not an integral part of the plate and mr pc could pull you if they wanted.

Also your plates need to show registered trader , which you have to send your documents too before they can do your plates , the ones on eBay are mostly Show plates.

DMB do quote on their website that the plates are road and MOT legal and do show registered trader stamp.

That's fine if they do , as long as they request your Documents , if they don't request them , then they are not registered.

Yes, forgot to mention that. They do request emailed copy of V5 or log book.
