hi guys im new to this site, and to fords, can anyone help me with the towing wheight for a ford focus 1.8 ghia zetec petrol estate, as i cannot find any info as to what the towing capacity is, my van as a max payload of 1300kg, would this car tow this ok, many thanks in advance, mick... its a 1999 model

I believe the capacity is 1000lbs or 550kg with a 100lb tongue weight but it's not advised to go maximum as it will struggle uphill,

My old diesel focus was 1200kg I believe.. And I thought the petrol ones were 1000kg..

Doesn't this info come on your V5C??
