Change Boot Light For Led Strips

Hey, I've got two Red LED strips which I want to hook up to my boot light. I've managed to get the one hooked up but I'm not sure about the second one. If the LED strips are 12V each x2 of them would be 24V? I'm pretty sure my boot light is only 12V. I just don't want to put too much pressure on the light. Anyone done this previously? Or know anywhere else I could hook up the second one in my boot.

Cheers, Mark

Hi Mark

It does not work like that , 12v will run two 12v lights , two of them does not make 24v.

Just wire positive to positive and neg to neg it will be fine.
