Hi, just bought a 2008 2.0 tdci and I've noticed there is a brief vibration when you speed up in all the gears. It is at different speeds for different gears ( but always about the same in any one gear ), it doesn't last for long but still is noticeable.
Could it be the start of the dreaded DMF ? The car has only done 65000

Thanks Dave

maybe, but not neccessarily. 65k miles is not that low for DMF failure some fail at half that. (others last forever!)

Had it checked out and as I thought its the start of the duel mass disaster !!!
Booked in Monday, when I will be £635 lighter ! Clutch and slave ok but getting all done while there in there !

Whoever thought of putting a duel mass flywheel in road cars needs locking up !!!!
