Jason 'Tweek' Batty
Finally got a new head unit, after many problems with the used one I bought, and fitted it last night. Did not take me long to do and I think it looks great. Here is a few pic's of the process. Start Take off the centre console trim Take out 6 torx screws and the facia pop's off The ford unit had a further 4 torx screws to remove All removed New double din cage fitted. Head unit slotted in no problem, used new wire harness and works nicely. Loverly feel to the touch screen and has ipod connection. Enjoyed doing this.....now got to find something else to do. Brigante
Looks good mate how much it cost you? I'm getting a pioneer soon. Has your faulty used one been resolved yet?

Jason 'Tweek' Batty
No, because I have had it "repaired". Like I said, left with an £80 lump.
Sticky45
Excuse me for reviving the thread but did you have to buy a surround to fill the curved edges. After realising that my unit doesn't play mp3 discs I was considering a new 2 din unit but couldn't figure out how it would fill the original space
