Yay or Nay?

Thinking of getting some in black as a cheap way to do my head lights n rear clusters till I get round to getting actual black units.

Opinions?

Who's already got it n would you recommend it?

This what I'm on about:

i have seen them on a corsa combo van at a garage i went to a while back. On the van it looked ok but i think it will look better on the focus it does look like he put ladies tights over the headlight as it got the little hole in them he said it cuts about 5% of light but he did recomend it to me if i ever wanted it done. As it cheap try it if u dont like it take it off.

May order some as it's only 10quid n give it a go in the week. Reading some of the sellers feedback through, they private listings so don't say what the product was, but the feedback says how it was poor quality crappy film, which I'm assuming is about the fly eyes.

Is the free sunstrip that comes with it likely to be any good?

Hmm didn't think a solid film would be legal that's why the fly eyes perforated to let the light shine through. May take a punt n get some at a tenner, if it looks crap I'll just rip it off n bin it lol.

I know a lad that has it on his mk1 rs and it looks really good. He said its very easy to put on but does say it cuts the light output somewhat. It is mot passable unlike some tints out there.
Seen it on a few cars at Ford Fair this year and i was impressed with it, coz it looks like a tint from the distance.

They do look good fitted to the ST

I know they block out some of the light, but think it's only about 5% and I'd mainly want em on the head lights cause I want black head light units. These would do till I had a spare 80quid for the black units.

I think I may order some in the week n post a few photos once fitted to see what everyone thinks. Then if the light appears to be dramaticallyd reduced I'll just rip it off n bin it lol
