hey rly stuck with this en, ford fiesta ghia, R-reg, 1.3 5door, a while back the fuse went for the left sidelights, no obv reason for it, changed the fuse n it blew as soon as the switch was turned on. disconnected the stereo, headlights, rear lights n number plate light on the left side incase it was a prob with any, trying a fuse as i go, bt still blows, ordered a new stalk which arrived today as a last ditch hope n its not making any difference. has anyone any ideas???????????????

it sounds like you have a live wire in the sidelight circut shorting to earth, but its hard to say where this could be try around the bulb socket area first.
