Hey guys since I'm not the sharpest at this whole car customising and still relatively new on here wat on earth is submarine lighting ?

ambient lighting mate. it's basically a courtesy light with 2 small red leds built in that shine down when the engines running to create a soft glow over the gear leaver.

looking at like 80quid though for a new unit unless you lucky to see one pop up on ebay but thats rare

It's also classed as ambient lighting.
It's small led's positioned in such a way as to enhance the appearance of the inside of a car and sometimes shine onto consoles and switches.
I have them in my courtesy light and they shine down onto my centre console/gear stick when I turn on my side/headlights.

Ah think my car had this two wee red LEDs either side of the map lights

Will get a photo of my interior light and post it but in Aberdeen it's below 5 degrees and I am off to bed soon so u boy's can wait until the morn for it lol
