i have a 57 plate mondeo 2.0 titanium x auto diesel is it a chain or belt and what milage should it be changed

Should be a timing CHAIN, but an auxillary drive BELT.
Haynes manual advises chain should last the life of the engine but belt should be replaced at 125K

if it a mk3 it will be a chain as stated, but if its a mk4 it will be a belt and the recomended milage to change it is 62500 because its an auto.

Thanks for the replys i have phoned main dealer who has servised car from new and he asssures me it is a chain
