I own a 1997 1.25 Fiesta and whilst driving around Bodmin a couple of days ago i noticed that when I accelerated a certain amount the revs dramatically increased but the speed didn't. The idd thing is the above problem only occured in Bodmin and not on the way to or from Bodmin (60 miles each way on the Atlantic Highway). Can anyone shed any light on this?
