i have a mk3 mondeo and have a problem with the tailgate lock not working on dash switch or boot mmicro switch.works off keyfob ok but nothing else.i changed micro switch dash switch and worked ok on micro switch but soon as i pressed dash switch it stopped working any1 any ideas of a sollution regards pete

I reckon you've got a broken wire to the boot causing a fault.
The button release and fob release are I believe on seperate circuits.
