I have Denso NAV in Focus Ghia MK2. I have the following questions if someone can help:

1. I have universal Audio 2000 car kit with the cradle TH251. This cradle can be used with the mobiles Nokia 3220, 6020, 6021 and identical mobiles. Manufacturer who turns to be Funkwerk Automotive do not have cradle for the mobile Galaxy SII. Universal handsfree car kit Audio 2000 is out of range since end of 2011. Only solution seems to be buying Audio 2000 bluetooth adapter. I don't know whether this would work.

2. Can I add some other bluetooth to Denso in order to have hands-free for mobile conversation?

3. There is AUX 3,5mm jack in the glove box. When I connected my mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 to it and chose AUX in Denso, I could here the music through the car Speakers, but it's VERY silent. If I turn the volume on, there is a lot of noise. Is there something I can do about it? Add some device or repair the contact?

4. Alternatively, can I add some bluetooth to Denso in order to play music from my phone to it directly? I don't need USB.

5. Focus had "External Auxiliary 6 CD Changer". If I understand well, it's not Denso, but somewhere else. I couldn't see it, it's probably removed. Where was that? Where is it's connection? Since I have DVD-ROM for navigation maps, it's lot of drives.

1. The Denso is no different to the other Ford radios in terms of handsfree connection - any other aftermarket kit will work as yours.

2., 4. - See 1.

3. Is the volume on your phone turned all the way up?

5. If the CD changer still shows up on the satnav screen (albeit with "magazine empty"), it's still in the car. In the Focus, it's under one of the front seats (I can't remember which one), accessible from the front.

Thank you. Can you please post a link to some kit so that I get the idea? I don't know where to start. Discussion on http://www.fordowner...us-to-use-ipod/ seems different to me. My priority is hands-free for mobile conversation, and bluetooth for the music is not so important now.

3. Is the volume on your phone turned all the way up?

3. Volume on the phone was in the middle. When I tried with the volume all the way up, everything was fine. (SOLVED)

I haven't noticed because I looked from the back, but it's there, under passanger's seat. (SOLVED) The only thing missing on this CD changer is that it plays only Audio CDs, not MP3 nor DVDs.

This is a screenshot from DIAG menu, I don't know if it can help. What is needed to have Yes for "BT Phone"?

Hi mate,

You can purchase a Genuine ford bluetooth moduile to fit in the loom at the rear of the glovebox for around 90euro from ford.

Please note; if purchasing from eBay you need to ensure the moduile is from a focus and either 2005-2008 or 2008-2010 because software changed along with model.

Regarding the music via 3.5mm AUX

It could be a loose connection, but first ensure all equalisers on the phone music have been set to default and the music is turned up full level on the phone.

Also the cd changer used to fit under passenger seat

Hope this helps.

Thank you. I'd prefer to buy Ford bluetooth module (found to be RX-1C). If not, then Audio 2000 bluetooth adapter. Now that there is also Parrot device, that's the last option.

I searched on E-bay, I couldn't find it, probably it's rare. If someone see that being sold, please notify. Also I'll ask at Ford when I go there.
