johnod88
Hi All, I'm new the to the forum and need your advice. I have a '56 plate Focus 1.6 zetec climate (petrol) and in its MOT last week it passed no problems, but one advisory of 'oil leak from gearbox'. The car has been well looked after with FSH and on 64k miles so thought it surely couldn't be that the box was knackered. Jacked her up today to have a look and this is what I could see. Very hard for me to tell exactly where it's leaking from to be honest. Does anyone have experience of this or know what it could be? The garage that carried out on the MOT said they could look at it but would need to take the box out, which I am obviously very reluctant to do as I know how many hours of labour that would entail! Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

johnod88
If you don't mind me asking, how much did that cost you? I was planning to sell it before the MOT but now it looks like I'm going to have to spend a fair amount sorting it!
