had a look at a knocking sound today and found o/s front spring has snapped, how easy it to replace, wot special tools do i need (if any) or is easeir to take it to a garage that i know and trust???

spring compressors are required if changing spring or get 2nd hand shock from scrappy and about hr later tops its done jack up car undo 2 lower shock bolts unclip brake hose on shock and undo 3 shock top nuts drop out then replace with 2nd hand unit
