Kentish Man
As anyone ever had this done. Picking up a 61 plate metal next week as replacement for my Zetec S which I believe was stolen by the lock being picked and the thief's having some sort electronic device to get round the alarm and key less start system. My new vehicle will have the standard chip key start, just wondered with it appearing to be so easy to get into cars (look on youtube) Am I right in saying that a crook would have to have a key that fitted the ignition barrel for it to be reprogrammed to start the car or can they get round this too? If this is the case it would make the factory fitted immobiliser, alarm and deadlocks a waste of time.
