Water In Drivers Door

4 posts in this topic

Hi

A friend of mine owns a 2004 Fiesta and the drivers door keeps filling up with water.

Are there any areas that need sealing and also there are no drain holes in bottom ??

Many Thanks in advance

Paul

I'd check the door sill rubbers for perishing and around locks and bolt holes.

I'm pretty sure there should be drainage slots on the door bottoms.

Maybe a good blast with an air line to clear them out?

There definitely should be drainage holes in the bottom of the door. As Stoney says, they must be blocked. Water usually gets in via the window seal - I should check it.
