Hi, welcome to the forum, as your car was either manufactured in the states, or in Mexico, and has a handling pack that we don't have as a option on our German built Foci here in the UK, I'm not sure what we can say that would any different to the usual 'have the suspension checked'. As I also subscribe to the Ford Fanatics forum I remember that there has been several posts in there that refer to a clunk from the front as you describe, thus I'm sure someone in their will be able to help you.Chris

Mine was built in Detroit, Is there a way you can take a picture of the top of your strut tower where your strut brace bolts down. I am curious to see what brace and bolts you have in Europe.

Hi, I will tomorrow or Monday but do you mean under the bonnet or inside the wheel arch?

under the bonnet, at the top of the front strut where the three bolts hold to the car, we have a strut brace from the factory. I am curious to see if the EU models have the reinforced version
