hey guys/girls just thought id do a little update, so 3 months ago i plasti dipped my alloys with the matte black dip the process was very easy and simple no preping the surface no primer just a good wash and dry, some people think that as it aint paint it wont hold up to wind rain and heat but at the moment 3 months on no peeling no bubbles so pictures below are when i first sprayed then 3 months on sorry for the dirty wheels dont fancy cleaning car when its so cold.

So 3 months ago when i first did them

Hiya Liam , great to see they are holding up , they still look really good.
Have youhave pressure washer on them at all?.
If any stone chips , does it look like it might be starting to flake?

Hi mate, wheels are looking well! Can I ask how much in total you need to do a few coats on all four wheels? I'd be tempted to give this a go as an alternative to getting a refurb.

In America you can get what is called glossifier thay do it on the plasti dip uk website but not in rattle cans might be worth emailing them, am waiting on the blaze green to come back in stock.

Hey Gforce you can get away with 3 or 4 coats but the more you put on the better it holds up better and when you do need to take it off if only have few layers it will come off in tiny bits rather then one big pull, i only used 4 cans I got them for 12ish

What i was thinking of doing is getting an ST spoiler and plasti dip Gloss black , but if i can't get gloss black colour then i may just get it painted Frozen white to match the car. I don't want to get one and paint it black.
I'll keep looking :)
I will email them see what they come up with.
