Can you tell me a little bit about the process and any problems you may had after replacement ??

As long as the new cluster is from a diesel I see no problems, as petrol differs. You will need certain programs and access to pats security codes. Also a minimum of two working keys as these will need reprogrammed and paired to new cluster.

My Focus is diesel :-) and I got two keys. One I use on daily basis and one with no battery in :-)
I'm going to be looking for someone to do it for me.

Are you in UK. Can you do it for me ?

Yes I'm in the UK and I'd charge more than £50, even at £75, that's a great deal! Most ford places won't touch them and if you do manage to get them too, they'll charge £££.

My local ford says they would charge me £74,32 for one hour job plus I would need to supply SAME IC. as they wouldn't discuss compatibility of other clusters.
as I said it doesn't have to different speedo. I can get same as mine. The reason why I wanted to have a go with that updated one is that I think they fixed some problems on it

I'd just take the updated one to them, as any other will still need reprogrammed anyway.

I got exact same speedo for 30 and got a guy that will do if for me tonight. Ford wanted me to pay 79 plus VAT so close to 100 quit so I refused it.
