lissyloo99
Hi i have had my streetka since new (2004) and has been fairly trouble free until now. I recently had my car roof treated but yesterday noticed that waterdroplets had formed on the inside of the roof. Does anyone know if this means the treatment didnt work or if its time to buy a new roof?
CoreForce
The inside of the roof is made from rubber. If it is physically intact there is no way water cold make it to the inside. That's actually the reason why the StreetKa roof does not require any roof treatment other then for cosmetic reasons. If the rubber fabric is scratched or perforated, there is no roof treatment that could help you with it. Which place you observe the drops, precisely? Stoney871
I'd reckon that the new treatment has meant that condensation is forming on the inside of the roof. A friend of mine until recently owned a Toyota MR2 Roadster and used to get ice on the inside of his roof in the winter.
