Hi there I av 2008 1.8tdci cmax that as covered 21,100 miles,that is in a ford garage having a new dual master flywheel & pressure plate fitted,has anybody come across this problem aswell

never heard of it on such low mileage

as above, not on such a low mileage but DMFs are a nightmare as by nature they will wear/break up and consequently fail

What were the cars symptoms?
I have a tdci auto that sounds awful at start up and when idling. When you put it under load the noise goes away.
Do Autos have DMF's?
