Featured Replies

Good evening to all and happy new Year!!

I am a Ford Fiesta mk4 mod 96 owner and I have problem how to remove the LH drive shaft inner side from the gear box, since there is no evidence of any bolts or something like that. Is someone who have some experience on it.

Thank you in advace.

There are no bolts it's just pushed in.

they are very tight, easiest way i found was loads of wd-40 a lot of patience

Good morning and thanks for the speedy reply. You mean that if place a suitable screwdriver or a lever between the inner end of drive shaft and gear box and I have a little luck with me it comes out? :)

A wide blade screwdriver or a small pry bar will ease them out

Good evening guys and many thanks for all the usefull information. It took me few seconds to drive it out of its place by the use of a common pry bar!!!

you might want to consider replacing the seal while the driveshaft is out (if it still is) you should be able to get a genuine one for a couple of quid.

once disturbed they can leak

Thanks for the note, I already put the shaft to its place. The oil seal was pretty good and priot to refit I put some oil around for better fitment but I took it up to my mind to see if I have some leak. Many thanks again!!!!!
