Does The Front Subframe Have To Be Re Aligned After Clutch Replacement

just had the clutch replaced, since the replacement, the car developed a clunking noise on right hand lock. i ended up replacing the bottom rear engine mount plus the exhust flexi pipe within two weeks of the clutch being replaced, two weeks on they have both gone again. has anybody got any surgestions.

HELP needed as it is Taxi.

the subframe should have been aligned using the correct alignment pins which fit at the rear of the subframe. failing that it can be done using paint.. something definitely isn't right on yours

When my clutch was replaced the subframe wasn't fully removed - just lowered enough to remove the the gearbox which was then rested on the subframe while the clutch and flywheel were replaced. It was then refitted without the use of any pins and has been absolutely fine. It was done at a specialist clutch and gearbox centre - the fitter had obviously done it many times before and mad very short work of it. Sounds like yours has been a bit of a cowboy job - where did you take it?
