Pausing Cds

Hello everybody. I traded in my oil-guzzling Fabia vRS last week for a sensible 2009 Fiesta TDCI. A sign of the times.

The car is great so far despite having 51k on the clock (seems there are a lot of cars for sale the same with similar mileage).

One thing which is a annoying is I can't figure out how to pause a cd. Not too much to ask - or is it?

You're asking too much I'm afraid, no such feature exists so if you don't want music for a while it'll have to be muted or switch off.

Mentalists. Does the person that designed this have to switch their DVD player off when they get a phone call?

Thanks anyway!

In an ideal world you would have the factory bluetooth fitted so that the CD is automatically paused when you are using the phone.

If you receive a phone call through the cars phone system it automatically mutes the stereo

But doesn't pause it so you miss the song!

According to the manual, selecting RADIO whilst playing a CD will PAUSE the CD.

It seems strange that receiving a call via bluetooth would not do the same, but there is no mention of it in the manual.

Perhaps its just the upgraded DAB radio, but when I press mute it pauses it.

Tried this today and the CD definitely paused when I received a call or pressed either radio or Aux.
