I know the general feeling about Halfords but provided your car is in good nick, at £27.42 this looks a good offer

Certainly is a good deal, its always worth a chance!

I advise using local council test centres. They tend to use them for their own vehicles, but a lot open their doors to the public. They have no reason to scam you, they dont make a great profit, so always worth considering.
