My car is listed on Ford Etis as 1.6L Duratorq TDCi (110PS) - DV6. Does this mean its the 109bhp model? Also what is DPF, ive read a little bit about it but dont know what it does.

Yep it's the 110. Same engine as mine. The Wikipedia article pretty much sums the DPF up. Providing you do enough miles to warrant a diesel you shouldn't have any issues with it.
