Can't help with the wheels mate, pretty hard to come by from what I remember when I tried to source a set for my old Mondy, but if it was a pothole have you tried claiming for it off the relevant local authority? You'd be able to get a new one then from Ford no probs.
Sorry if you've already thought about it, or even tried it by now, but I did it a couple of years ago and they paid out. Might be a bit different over here though.
