dohboy78
As you guys may know I have recently bought a 59 plate Mondeo Titanium X Sport 2.2 Diesel... I never keep my cars standard for very long. This one will be no exception. Day 1: The key was looking a bit tired, so I got my box of carbon vinyl out and 10 mins later... When I was looking for the Mondeo I saw an estate with Focus RS alloys on and thought it looked mint... so I found these... They were a little grubby... but for £400 I cannot complain... so 5 hrs later I had these... I have then ordered a set of H&R Spacers... the supplier ordered direct from H&R in Germany... 5 days later... ...also ordered some Eibachs, from the UK...3 weeks later... nothing! So today I decided a good wash and de-tar was in order... also de-badged some of the rear as well... Before: During: After: Now should I keep the Titanium X badges... or remove?? Few more de-tarred pics... Eibach, spacers and wheels due to be fitted on the 18th. Will get some pics up ASAP. Also looking for an aftermarket stainless exhaust... the only off the shelf one I can find is a Scorpion one for £800... seems a bit steep? Anyone know of any others?? All comments welcome. Stoney871
Jealous @ the RS wheels. Very nice indeed. The exhaust company is Powerflow with dealers in Exeter and Barnstaple. http://www.powerflowexhausts.co.uk/
TDCiST
Longlife exhausts are similar to powerflow... They get good reviews I believe

The colour is nearly the same in real world! Devon is a bit far from Newcastle! :P

Been wrapping my grill today... was going to do the bonnet lip too... but it started snowing! Will do the lip tomorrow!
dohboy78
Bit more of an update today... Wrapped the upper lip and de-badged the rear completely... Teeth out... Lip wrapped... Installed... Not 100% happy with the finish... but got me thinking I might get both grilsl carbon dipped... now that will look nice!
Stoney871
Looks a good job to me. If you want bits carbon dipping give Brigante a nudge, he's just perfected doing it himself.

MrGrumpy
Looks gorgeous, very well spec'd standard too! Good choice on removing both badges, looks a lot cleaner.
Chris Baxter
Hi Mate, loving the plans you have for your car, looking good atm. I was just wondering what size spacers you went for as i'm thinking about buying some for my titanium x sport and don't know what size to go for? I was just wondering what size spacers you went for as i'm thinking about buying some for my titanium x sport and don't know what size to go for? Chris Gone for 15mm each side. The RS wheels offset is 5mm less than the standard wheels... So only really 10mm +.

dohboy78
Decided the wrap is coming off... Think with the Mondeo I am going to keep it all Ford Colours. So bought some Panther Black spray. Going to do the Lip and Upper surround. fogs and the lower grill surround in Panther Black... might do the rear diffuser in Panther Black too? Also bought a debadged upper grill, going to paint both grills satin black to contrast.
dohboy78
So today I recieved a package... my badgeless grill... Got busy with the sandpaper and keyed it all up for primer... and the top lip too. Washed down and dried, then 1st coat of primer... Needs a few more coats... but ran out of spray. Got some more arriving tomorrow along with the Panther Black as well. One problem I have is, on the original grill the upper grill trim comes off, on the badgeless it is all one part. So going to satin black the whole grill then mask off all but the lower lip and then spray that Panther Black.
dohboy78
Bit more progress today. Bought another can of primer and have sorted the lip and grill now... Also touched in the few marks on the RS wheels... and painted all the weights black. Looked at the front grill amd fogs too.. should pop out fairly easily. But the rear diffuser is actually part of the rear bumper... bugger!
dohboy78
Well sad to say the wheels are not fitted... neither are the spacers... turns out I have bought the wrong spacers. The ones I have bought require the wheel bearing separating from the front and the longer studs feeding through. So just had the Eibachs fitted. From this... To this... Also fitted the new Panther Black Bonnet lip... New spacers have been ordered and will be fitted ASAP.
