when i took my radio out to get the serial number ( to retrieve the lost code )
the dealer had written the code next to the serial number

Oh well. Its saved you some trouble getting it anyway. The code was required on the wife's Clio. I just downloaded some software and now I can pull the codes for just about any Renault. Security aint what it should be.

you're right ..codes are of no consequence anymore as small progs and keygens are readily
available on the internet..all the codes are , are an irritation to mr ordinary joe public who , if
unlucky gets ripped off by the main dealer to get his radio working again

It shows that Ford has decided it's a waste of time as the radios in new cars don't have codes anymore.

and about time.....so they aught to release the master code that will enable every radio thats been
immobilised by this fickle piece of security nonesense..and make hundreds of frustrated drivers
