Alright, Im after some information on what any of you guys thing about having a digital radio I think the name is dab or something like that.

I have a 2014 fiesta zetec s.

I was wondering if I could fit the Sony radio that's in the St model and in the titanium models in mine and if there any good as mine has the standard looking one in.

Also if it can be fitted where could I get my hands on one or get one fitted.

Thanks Adam.

DAB is terrible, in my view not worth the expense.

You'd be better served streaming internet radio channels via a phone.

DAB signals are generally poor and channel availability on a moving vehicle is sparse to say the least.

(Personal view of course)

Cheers stoney871 just curious on the whole thing. I went in the St and it just looked quite good and thought I'd ask here

If you want to go to the expense of fitting a Ford DAB system (about £800 if bought new from a dealer) then fair do's.

Cheaper units are sometimes found on eBay.

In my car I either stream via my phone on 4G or just play mp3's off a memory stick.

There's far more stations available via a phone radio app than any DAB signal can provide.

Personally I would just replace with a standard clutch.

The standard clutch is built for the gearbox your running so no need to upgrade it in my eyes.

Is the ST bumper a direct replacement for stock mk2.5 bumper?

Yes but you have to bear in mind the double exhaust pipes.

Running with only one pipe will look strange.

You can get a twin pipe fitted as some on the club have done.

Fitting a stock ST rear box is a non starter though as the back box intrudes into the spare wheel well space on a standard MK 2.5.

i'm thinking of fitting the rear st bumper soon. what concerns me right now is the st front bumper.  i just want to make sure that it is a direct replacement before i buy the one that i saw on eBay.

thnaks stoney for the suggestion.

Front one will fit ok but you will probably need new fog lights, as far as I can recall they use a different mounting layout

I picked up my Focus ZS 1.5 TDCi on Thursday. I managed to take a few pics for your appreciation yesterday.

This is the first car I've owned (not a lease or company car this time) so I'm fairly new to mods etc which will mostly be around the appearance of the car (for now). I'll no doubt be picking your brains and seeking your help on here. The plan so far is as follows:

1) Upgrade interior lights to LED (glove compartment, courtesy lights and inside the boot). Has anyone done this that is able to recommend any suppliers of genuine white LED bulbs? Do these need to be canbus LEDs? I've watched the following tutorial but it's a company in the US (also checked the thread for bulbs list but came up with nothing for the Mk3.5).

2) Apply 'S' badge to front grille. Undecided on whether it should be red (which is quite popular and the go to sports colour) or blue, which I think looks different and would compliment the magnetic colour and allow the car to be a bit more individual to me .

 https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/201541639613

3) I'd paint the brake calipers the same colour as the 'S' badge.

4) I have the Appearance Pack 2 on my Focuz ZS so have the 18" 8 spoke Y alloys which I really like. With the car being a dark grey I was thinking of darkening the alloys (similar to the colour in the final pic of the BMW 4 series - ?gun metal?). What's the best option? Plasti Dip, wrapping, spraying? (The bright alloys might be growing on me...may need to give this some thought).

5) If I decide on doing 4 I'll probably also de-chrome the front grille and chrome window line, (depending on what it looks like).

I think for now that is as much as I'll do. I may do the headlights but need to read up on the legality of HID, xenon, bi xenon and fly eyes/tints.

Would someone with some photoshop skills please give me an idea of what 2, 3, 4 and 5 would look like? If you need additional pics I'll be happy to provide these, but I think I've got all angles covered.

Apologies for the long post and look forward to sharing my journey into the world of mods and seeking inspiration on here.

Whos in the process of doing their car up? I want to hear about anything youve done from the smallest decal to full engine/body mods :). List the model/year or mk of your car and what youve done and what youre planning to do. Also try and make/post a guide on how you have done your modifications to try and help others. If you need help creating a guide, feel free to contact either myself or any of the other moderators who are always glad to help out.

Looking at a couple of mods for my car Focus ST250.  Just looking for a bit of advice from someone who has past experience possibly?

OSRAM Cool Blue Intense, Mains, Dipped & Side lights (Fogs not a priority):

Are these any good? Do they make a noticeable difference to the look of the car & the driver vision.  Or are there better alternatives on the market for similar prices?  I've looked into converting to HID but I can't justify the price just for lights (currently at £500~ each for LH & RH Headlight.)

Pumaspeed Blow Off Valve: http://www.pumaspeed.co.uk/product-Pumaspeed-Double-Piston-Dump-Valve-Kit-Focus-ST-250-Eco-Boost_15583.jsp&pic=2

How easy is this to install yourself? Been looking at a few videos and seems to be a little fiddly. Also is it worth it compared to the Stock BOV?

Mountune mTune Only MT275:

Is this a straight forward plug in and choose the selected remap or more tricky? I've contacted Mountune and they were a little vague on the details.  It has to be Mountune as I'm a little vain when it comes to my car, especially now that my friends have decided to jump on the band wagon and are planning on getting their own Focus & Fiesta ST, and the one getting the Fez is looking for an already mapped Mountune.  (Basically I like the badge and want to have the quickest and nicest sounding Ford in the group )

Mountune Induction Kit: https://www.mountunestore.com/collections/mk3-focus-st/products/focus-c346st-induction-kit?variant=826544541

How easy is this to install yourself? I know you can get this included in the mTune275 with the intercooler but I can't afford to fork out £1000~ in one purchase and I know if needed I can source a much cheaper Intercooler anyway.  Again, I'd prefer the Mountune over anything else just because it looks that bit smarter.

I have 12V leds already, but I'm wondering where I can get the ignition power for them. I'm planning to place leds on the doors, under the trash and in the cup holders. Any thoughts about solve this "problem"? Thanks..
