Cheers Guys its easy enough if you got patients! Have a try on something pretty flat to start off. It's the curved stuff that tests you. I got my vinyl from Underground Graphics on Ebay. Really quick

You get what you pay for. Simples.

Agreed, if it looks too good to be true it probably is!

Hey guys! I'm new to this forum and I signed up because I'm hopefully purchasing one of the older ford fiesta's second hand next week. I believe the 05-08 sort of models... I was wondering what sort of mods I could start out with mainly on the interior as I don't plan to be putting any body it's on it or lowering it at all... Just looking some general ideas, Thanks in advance!

No problem.

If you require further advice on suppliers for specific mods feel free to ask,

Another nice interior mod is ford logo puddle lighting fitted under the doors,

Shine ford logo on the ground when door is opened

See my profile page for links to my guides and my build thread for ideas,

All visible on desktop version of the site but sadly not shown via the app

Hi I'm new here! Been driving a few month and love my zetec s mk6 fiesta. Added a few mods to it nothing crazy, just looking for some advice regarding a K&N air filter. Can one be fitted ? How much do they cost? Would be sound if I got a reply.

Cheers

No problem,

See my page for list of guides,

Most available to download in pdf format too, most of them possible on the fiesta too,

Principles are the same,

What engine is your fiesta petrol or diesel?

I have a 57 plate Fiesta Zetec s petrol 1.6. Added a few minor bits too it

-Tinted windows

-Gel overlays to Centre caps and all badges

-LED bulbs for rear number plate lights

Also ordered

- S logo for front grill

- Black colour coded cap to colour code the boot lock

Obviously not much but money's tight with it being my first car. Not really sure what to get next? Thinking maybe the RS bonnet lip thing but not really sure as not personally keen on the " modded look " just want a few little bits to make it stand out

You would be best off creating a new thread to discuss further.

Thank you for the reply.

How would I go about installing a new thread?

Hi all looking to do some engine mods on my 2006 fiesta zetec s can anyone recommend or give me any ideas on what to do ?

Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

Usual mods first would be remap, induction kit, uprated exhaust & sports cat. Maybe uprated throttle body if one is available.

If you're opening the motor up, maybe vernier cam pulleys in conjunction with different cams and ported/skimmed cylinder head. If the block can be bored out to take larger pistons this generally gives more power and torque where other mods can be more of a compromise

There might be other mods more specific to your car that also give worthwhile gains but those above are the common ways forward for normally aspirated engines. Cost-wise the mods more or less go up in price as you work from induction kit up to cylinder head work. Once you get into engine work costs rocket up plus you're more likely to have to pay someone to do it all for you.

And at the same time the extra power gained gets less and less. Plus in some cases you might also take other standard parts to their limits or beyond, like needing uprated radiator as example.

Cheers troy appreciate that advise
