tirst Posted February 5, 2013 Author Share Posted February 5, 2013 it runs off leads so must have a distribitor but has a chain not belt an some of the boy i spoke to said it should of been locked up before hand like you would on a diesel engine ?? btmaldon Posted February 5, 2013 Share Posted February 5, 2013 It should have a coil pack and leads, so there is no ignition timing adjustment as that is managed via the ECU. You are probably going to have to find top dead centre by checking where the pistons are through the plug holes. Unless someone else has got a better solution. Hopefully someone has.
