Hi,

When replacing the stereo on my 05 mk6 Festa the climate direction stick behind the dash fell out. It has a gear on the engine end and a round green connector on the dash end. I can't see where it came out from on the engine side, any ideas?

Hi it comes from the side towards the steering wheel. If you push it in at that side first you should feel it click into position then when your puttin the fascia back on you'll need to pull it out very slightly and connect it to the heater control. It can be very tricky because theres not alot of space. Also be careful the heater silver cable doesnt pop out also. Once youve got both sides in just turn on your ignition and check the heater control is switching positions correctly ie windscreen, footwell etc and also check its heating up and cooling down before !Removed! the fascia back on. Theres a fascia underneath the steering wheel that comes out with a couple of screws, if you remove this you might just be able to see where it pushes into
