I have recently had the misfortune of being hit up the backside by another driver. I managed to obtain his address, mobile number and van reg, he was very apologetic and admitted it was his fault. He also said he would pay for the repair to any damaged caused.
Anyone out there know the price of a rear bumper and rear reflector for a MK8 Fiesta (colour-Hot Megenta). Just need some idea of the cost for the repair.

Hi Neil,

Call your local dealer, and speak with the bodyshop, thats the most accurate way.

If he has admitted liability though, I would advise that you should go through the insurance. otherwise {hoping not of course} if you develop whiplash, or he experiences any sufference, then you have no liability cover, and could end up much worse off...

Hopefully it was nothing too serious though!

Dowdeswell... That doesnt seem like too 'common' a name, I know a fellow off the kia forum by that name! unlikely you know him but an observation ... its been a long night!

Thanks for the reply Jeebowhite ( even more uncommon name ) it was only a minor bump no one was hurt but made a bit of a mess of the back bumper and took out the bottom reflector light, going to get a few quotes tomorrow so i will include my local Allen Ford branch.

Hi. I have a full rear bumper for sale. It's in vision blue though. But should only be about £100 to get sprayed and is easy to fit.
