With advanced apologies if i) this has been discussed before and ii) I appear to be a bit dim but I wonder if I could get some help here please?
I have the excellent sounding Sony DAB audio/Sat Nav system fitted to my 2012 Focus Titanium X (rather than to my old pride and joy as per the picture seen to the left) and am having difficulties entering certain destination post codes. The problem arises when I want to input codes with single numerics eg AB1 2CD. The system is convinced that I want to look for AB12 ?CD. I have an old Garmin Nuvi that helpfully provides the facility to introduce a space where required but I've yet to find similar on the Sony or any other way of entering the correct 'short' code.
So far as I can see, the 'Navigation' section of the Focus handbook is silent on this aspect) as indeed it is on other matters) so any help that can be given would be much appreciated!
By the way, does anyone know if there exists a decent manual for this Sony unit and i so,where it can be found?

I too have come across this and was confused too, but if you continue to input the entire post code so input AB12 and then scroll to the letters and you should be able to input CD.
