Hi I have a 2003 2.5v6 mondeo with 225/40/18 tyres can any one tell me what the right tyre pressure is as the middle of the tyre is wearing more I have been told it could be the tyre pressure

standard would be around 32PSI all round, fully loaded your looking around 36 front and closer to 40 rear!

Thanks for that I had 28psi try 32 c if that make any difference

if your middle is wearing more, that would indicate its over inflated... if its only 28 PSI, thats a bit worrying... It sounds like your tyre has spent far more time over inflated than under...? If its under inflated your outer edges run down quicker, over inflated, the centre wears down more quickly...
