DanGersFord
Its always advised you get new headlights properly aligned anyway :) it was the same with mine they were dead low aswel but ive found since he done it my main beam seems too high :/ think its the same adjuster screw. Im thinking about getting a set of morette twin headlights anyway :) http://www.morette.co.uk/scpro/morette/productscategorycar.asp?manumodel=331&parentcat=16&parentcatname=Full+Headlights&cattype=y&manufacturer=Ford

artscot79
Could it be the bulbs or is it a fault with the lights remove the dull one and put an original in and see if its the same or not

kpg
I know I'm resurrecting a thread from last year here but I just wanted to ask if the rings in the headlights look as white in real life as they do in these pics? From the stock pics on the website it actually looks quite orange but yours look like ice white? Sent from my iPhone 5s.

ScorpionSX
Rings themselves are not, but you can change the bulbs in them. I have the same headlight for about a month now :) ... however, I'm not sure which bulbs to buy yet, I have to check them properly. I also would like to change them into something more LED-ish :D
InKontrol
I thought these style of headlights were illegal...? I looked at some a year back for my Mk2.5 and somehow got the impression that they were illegal. :/ Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
ScorpionSX
It's illegal to use them as DRL...I mean the angel eyes circles, they're only for parking lights...otherways they're perfectly legal ;)

ScorpionSX
I will...myself I'm very curious about the result, I actually never seen bulbs so small in car, so I only hope they make LEDs this small...

If you wouldn't mind, could you maybe put up a pic of the type of bulb it is from your headlight unit ? Maybe one of us might know which type it is. Sent from my iPhone 5s. ScorpionSX
Yeah, no problem, I try to put it up today when I come home from work...if I remember correctly, something is actually writen on the spare bulbs that came with the headlights, maybe it's even the type of the bulbs...I definitely have to have a look at them :)

FocusSmudge
They aren't bi-xenon are they? I like the look of them. Extremely tempted infact!
ScorpionSX
By standard, no. But if you put HID bulbs in them, then yes, you can have xenon lights.
ScorpionSX
So, as promised, here is a pic of the bulb, €1,- coin for measurement... http://tinypic.com/m/igaohe/1 Writing on the bulb says 12V & 2.3W ... I spent quite some time searching for various types of bulbs for my Focus, but I don't remember seeing these anywhere...but I would be very thankful for a type name, or even a link for LED Bulbs like this. Thanks ;) EDIT: ok, so this is weird, I found them on eBay, I don't know what I searched for before, but yeah, there are some for sale, even LEDs, but I'm not very sure about fitting the LEDs in the ring's bulb socket...I guess I'll order some and check it, but since they need to come all the way from China, it'll take some time :D Here they are, I searched just for "12V 2.3W": http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10x-G4-26-SMD-LED-3528-Pure-White-Light-Bulb-Chip-12V-DC-2-3W-100-Lumen-6500k-/271586542274?pt=UK_Light_Bulbs&hash=item3f3bd1c2c2
