Hi, I've got an old e150 dayvan , been working steadily on it for 4 yrs now , but when i sent off recently for the v5 the dvla said i need to register and apply to an owners club to keep the reg mark that is on it, but as i dont have a clue what to do, any help would be gratefully appreciated..

i'm guessing it has been registered in the UK?Did DVLA say why they
wont send a new V5? As i've registered loads of American cars when
i've imported them without any problems If its just not on their
system you just need to get a owners club to either inspect the van in
person or by photographs confirm the vin number is correct and the make
model etc and for them to send you a letter on headed paper stating that
info, ( i used to do this and valuations for insurance valuations.) you
could try http://www.aac-int.com the guvnor on their forum is a chap
called Brendan nice chap you might have to join the club to get a letter
sent. failing that (think they are recognised by DVLA

if theres any probs PM me and i'll see what i can do for you (provided you're not trying to ring a motor shouldn't be a problem

Good Luck Eamonn
