Noise at the biting point and low speed

Hi all,

I am pretty new to car maintanence.

I just bought a Ford Focus Zetec 1.8 (2007) 13000 miles. I found that there is noise when the clutch reaches the biting point and while the car is moving in low speed (below 10mph). The noise sounds like it is caused by fraction. I think the engine is fine because no noise is heard when the gear is in idle.

I bought this car from a franchised dealer and didn't notice it during test driving. This car has been idle for 3 months but has just been serviced by the dealer 2 days before I took it.

Could it be possibly that this is due to long time idle of the car? Will it dissapear when I drive the car for several days?

Please give me your opinion.

Regards,

Ray
