Ford Focus Front Headlight

Hi, hope someone can help. I recently changed the frony headlight bulb on the passenger side of the car and all was ok there but for last week the drivers side bulb also failed. So I got the correct replacement bulb and went to fit it and the bulb will not now work. I have checked the bulb and it works in the passenger side headlight.

It was working ok last week, the old bulb had blown but a new working bulb will not light up. Can anyone shed any light on what what may cause this?

Thanks

First thing to do is check the fuse...

Fuse seemed to be ok, is there one fuse for both headlights or seperate fuses?

+1

The focus has seperate fuses for each headlight.

All fuses that are in the fuse box were ok. so not sure what else I can check. Any further assistance is greatly appreciated.

Dave, try a multimeter on the plug to see if there is any current going to it.

if you havent got one then just buy one...they ar very cheap nowadays and worth having.

Thanks for all the assistance but by process of elimination, once I had located the main fuse box, it was a blown 15amp fuse (fuse no 60).
