lilolee
Hi all Just wondered if anyone can help - ive been to two garages to check out this problem and they cant find anything wrong. While the car is idling the whole car is shaking, i can feel it through the floor, the seat, everything. Its starting to get quite uncomfortable after a few mins of sitting in it. The car shakes a little as i get to 1000 revs. Just over 1200 revs and the shakes stop. But return when just idling again. Its been on a diagnostics machine and it cannot find any problems. Might be worth removing engine top cover etc and taking a look at the plugs, maybe an ingress of water shorting the spark to earth on one or more of the plugs, would like to think water hasn't got down in there due to the cover!!, but there were issues of water leaks via the washer jets and getting into the plug areas, as a matter of course it maybe worth changing the plugs anyway as one or more could be breaking down and check out the HT leads while you're there.
