Sunroof / Moonroof "vent"

I've tried asking this question on american Escape forums and haven't had a reply yet -

How far does the moonroof / sunroof open in "vent" mode (Where the glass pops up instead of sliding back).  Mine appears to only open about halfway, then if I push close it will open all the way and then shut.  Is that normal?

Yea it is only a vent the one we test drove opened about 1" max enough to allow air into the cab, the open /slide opens much further

Yes this is normal as my Titanium X dose this. :)
