Back again! Sorry for posting another thread, got a question I hope somebody on here will be able to advise on, looking at buying some Fiesta Custom car mats however there are 2 options for the Fiesta, theres the normal MK 7 mats and then MK 7 mats with round fitting pegs, which is the correct one to buy or doesn't it matter (http://www.valuecarmats.com link here - if anybody wants some use discount code IWANTADEAL and it knocks 40% off!)

I have a spare set of the locating pegs as I just bought a set of genuine Ford mats for the wife's car and they came with new locating pegs which I don't need if anyone wants them..

No problem! Quick question which mats did you order as I'm still unsure if I should order the round fitting peg ones or not?

The oem Ford mat clips are available from eBay.

They are shown as for 01 to 07 models but I'm pretty sure they'll fit newer models.

I bought a set for my sisters 11 plate fiesta and they fitted just fine.

think i'm gonna have to get me some of these now

shame they don't do other trims, like i wouldn't mind a bit of grey trim or maybe blue around the edges, but then at this price you can't moan

Hi All Just received my new mats placed order 16/3/2013 they fit my 2011 Titanium fine, bit on the thin side but this helps them bend into foot wells clips fit well to pegs on drivers side and they have a double thickness under your foot so this will help with wear.

All in all at the cost they will do the job as a mat for winter use.

Mine arrived yesterday for £11 and I've got to say I can't complain at all for the price. Very nice pile and seem strong enough! Time will tell tho but if they last even three months I'll be happy! :D

Have you got two small slits in the carpet under the front of the drivers seat?

If so you can use the proper Ford fitting clips.

What are the quality like compared to the £34 Ford ones?

  • 2 weeks later...

Credit where credit's due, my mats was dispatched yesterday and fedex had them to me today so it is next day delivery..

Only thing is I ordered and paid for them over a week ago, so even with the 2 bank holidays, the seller took a full week to actually get round to dispatching em

But apart from that, I don't think I can fault the mats at all. They seem to be great quality, some of the comments on the site say how they are really thin. Personally I don't think they are, and they are a bit more rigid so they don't flop about which is good.

The backs of em are really grippy so I don't seem em sliding about, and they proper tailored and fit in the foot-well's beautifully

Really pleased with the drivers side mat the most

It would of been nice to have a different colour round the edges, blue or grey would be nice in my car. But for 11quid I really can't fault em n couldn't expect more for that price

One thing that was annoying though is I thing they was unnecessarily stapled together 3 times with massive heavy duty staples but there isn't really signs once removed

Tried to get a few decent photos but these are the best I could manage

For 11quid I'd just say get some, can't go wrong

Delivery might take a while but they worth it

Nice one to the OP for the heads up on these ;)

Oh and I was going mad searching the fiesta forum for ages trying to find this thread lol

Had to resort to searching my profile for my content I've previously posted

Only then did I realize it's been moved
