Hi.

Just popped the bonnet on my car, and noticed, on the right side of the engine (passenger side), under where the airbox sits, I have a small pool of oil sitting on a casing. Not sure what it is.

Have taken some photos.

Hope they can help?

Lost some coolant aswell.

Engine has a compression test, and nothing abnormal showed up.

Sorry this is vague.

Hope this can be of some use?

Eddie

could be from EGR valve but looking at state of oil i should clean engine gearbox and then re-check for leaks.theres a few water hoses that run around that side so just check them to or do a pressure test

or could be rocker cover gasket leaking as seems black.i would still suggest cleaning engine off and then run it to see if any def leaks as they would show up esp when warm
