Hi all!

Was thinking about getting my rear windows tinted on my mk7 fiesta. Has anybody else got this done and do any of you recommend any places to get it done, or to do it yourself?

Thanks in advance!

I had it done by a company called OG Tints in Northants, rear 3 windows for £60 (was half price offer)
Definitely get it done by a professional, nothing looks worse than a peeling, air bubble ridden home tint!

Make sure you tell your insurer that you are getting it done, before AND after otherwise they could at best raise your premium, at worst refuse to pay out on a claim. B)

Insurers do not like tinted windows so check BEFORE you have it done.

+2 Direct Line refused to insure me (or anyone under 25) with window tints (or any mods)

Direct Line wanted another £70 a year when my insurance is only £250 a year now. So I bought the blinds that clip in. They look OK and come come out in the winter, the only thing against is they don't roll down with the window.
