Usb Socket

Hi I have a 2009 Titanium Fiesta, I believe that the usb socket was an option at extra price from new, I have the 3.5mm in-line socket,but,no USB. how do I,or can I get a USB socket added ??

I'm almost certain that's not compatible with the MK7 Fiesta unfortunately (though always worth asking the seller)

For a 'factory fit' retrofit you have to replace your bluetooth module under the glovebox with a bluetooth & USB one, run the cable to the gearstick, replace the facia trim for aux & USB (instead of aux only) then get the vehicle reprogrammed by someone with a Ford VCM + IDS to activate the feature.

bluetooth > bluetooth & USB is easy peasy (for me anyway as I can program them)

It's nothing > Bluetooth/Bluetooth & USB that's tricky

(I confess I was hoping for " Buy a cable with the usb socket and new front trim amd it plugs in to a spare lead at the back"!!! ) B)
