bridgo
after selling my focus 1.6 st170 replica and buying a 2011 fiesta 1.25 zetec for the mrs the mods have started , mist type washer jets, esp switch , powerfold mirrors ,led boot lights, reverse park sensors , pioneer rear door Speakers ordered fit them as soon as they arrive (as ford didnt fit any in my rear doors ). replaced part leather steering wheel with a full leather one. now looking for a illuminated gear knob if i can get one for a good price as the £75 they go for is a bit pricey. also maybe a rear interior light also. im not interested in performance just comfort practical extras. ayrshiredude
how easy are these to fit?
bridgo
let you know when i get it , should be quite easy just conect it into the nearest sidelight feed i.e a switch with a light that comes on with the side lights , its a pity the cigarete lighter dont have a light ring around it as it would be simple , or you could do as the instruction and go to the fuse box. DanGersFord
As said you'd normally wire it in with the sidelights switch so basically youve got a way to turn it on/off otherwise it'd be on constantly/would eventually (after a very long time) probs drain the battery lol
SandyCat
Hi re the rear light I have recently fitted one to mine and it lights up the rear very nicely. Did it with a Transit courtesy light off eBay wired through the centre tunnel to the front passenger footwell light so it goes on/off with the door etc..

Looking at that you could fit rear footwell lighting if you fitted the light fitting to the sides instead of the middle the way you did :)
SandyCat
I could but the reason I didn't was several reasons. First the single light does both sides on it's own and this way I could take a single feed off the passenger front and not split it between 2 lights or having to access the drivers side footwell which was harder to reach. I did toy with the idea of 2 separate lights but figured it was more work for the same result.
