AJ_sXe
Ok, so I bought a set of heated Mist-type front washers, I assumed that my Ford ones were already heated seeing as I have a Titanium (yes I know foolish of me to assume). My question is: can I fit these ones in such a way as the heating wires/element is shielded while not in use or should I just buy a set of unheated ones and flog these? stef123
You can just cut the wires off if that's what your meaning?
b1g_dav3
I have heated ones, I put he loom in for them, but I had them about 8 or 9 months before this just hanging there :P they're fine.

A: Is the loom easy to find/source? (is it already there?) B: Is it easy to fit/wire? You can just cut the wires off if that's what your meaning? I could just do that, but was thinking about taping up/covering them to stop the plug rattling/vibrating.

Nope it's a bar stool to source, I was lucky and one came in at the breakers. It's a case of ring around I guess, but not sure if most keep it on the main loom. Yep, just splice in to the heated screen bits and you're away.
Stoney871
Mine were heated ones because strangely I found them for less than non heated ones. Snipped the wires off and no dramas.
