TitaniumSteve
Was surfing eBay last night, like you do, and I spotted this optional extra avaliable for the New Feista. Linky Link Link Looks like quite a good option to me, what do you all think?
Nipz
If your doing a lot of town driving it wont be much use :) well for storing more stuff maybe. Motorway crusing it will benefit though :) Its a little pricey for the amount of use i would give it IMO

shabazmo
I think very pricy for an aftermarket product that is not original
sussex
I'd LOVE an arm rest but as I dont have leather interior it wouldnt look right plus the arm rest is HUGE!
TitaniumSteve
I do agree it is a bit pricey plus I was concerned it would not match interior so I wont be buying one just a shame ford do not do something similar, making it the same trim etc
Air Hostess
I do agree it is a bit pricey plus I was concerned it would not match interior so I wont be buying one just a shame ford do not do something similar, making it the same trim etc I was thinking of getting one of those aswell, but looking at the pics inside the "demonstrator" car it dont seem to give you any room for pulling the handbrake up without twisting your wrist through god knows what angle to get to it,if anyone's got one ,let us all know if its easy to get to the handbrake, but i agree £79 is a bit pricey ..especially for leatherette..(not leather as stated),they do come in grey or black B.T.W Kristal
TitaniumSteve
Hadn't thought about the hand brake good point, it hard enough getting the pupils to use it so blocking it would just give them an excuss. I guess you would have to measure it up properly to see if it interfered or not.

I know the top slides back and forth as well as the whole thing can be raised or lowered by about 2 or 3 inch's and the top lifts up to put stuff in,but unless you see one in the "flesh" so to speak I wouldn't get on till I know the brake issue is NOT an issue ,as not being able to get to the handbrake easily/quickly can be a safety problem .even for us let alone learners Kristal

hedgepig
I agree, plus how else am I going to be able to teach them to do hand brake turns. Looks the dogs doesn't it? But, like the others, I reckon it's a bit pricey for a non Ford spec. As well as the objections previously raised I wonder if they do sale or return or can provide photos of it fitted to a new shape fiesta as I note that it says 2008 onwards. Hand brake turns? Let's hope your pupils can do emergency stops too! ;) ;)

Jonny87
Take a look here Mr. Hedgepigs http://www.european-parts.net/catalog/inde...c999a5727dabc53 Also look at page 2, theres a soupled Magenta Fiesta! Some nice bits and pieces on this site, its all EEC money though. Quite like the look of the Chrome-type footrest, goes well with the uprated ford pedal set. Those Eibach springs would also be quite a good mod on the Titanium! Also those alloys on the end of the list are quite tasty, only 17" though.... Enjoy!
