Bought a brodit phone charger with cigarette lighter plug was wondering ,if I was to leave it in a socket would it drain the battery ...and is there a good way to hard wire it in like a female cig socket so only power when phone is plugged in ??

you can buy cigerette socket adaptors that have got an on/off switch that you can leave in all the time and still turn off :)

which brodit did you go for? was it easy to fix etc like they say they are? I was looking at them a while back but they seem so expensive for what they are!?

You can wire a 12v Aux socket to only come on with Ignition
